1 Year

Today is my ONE YEAR anniversary at Desert Schools :) I can't believe it's been a whole year that I've worked there. It sure has been super fun!!
--I have met so many people! not only my fellow employees, but the members as well. They are so fun to interact with and become friends with.
--I love seeing people I already knew before. I see people from school, church, and other friends. I have also met so many people through a mutual friend..that somehow knows me.. ;) but it's fun!
--I have made MONEY. obviously. But it's nice to be able to do things I want to do, without "having no money" hold me back. I'm glad I get to save for the future.
--I have grown so much! I used to not like getting up and talking to strangers, but now, it's pretty much my job. Now, I love talking to people, seeing how they're doing. It's not as scary as I once believed it to be. It's quite enjoyable!
--I have learned a lot. A lot about budgeting. What's important to spend my money on. How to save. What NOT to do with my money. About credit cards, mortgages, loans, how to just be prepared for the future!
--So many opportunities have come from it. I have attended many training sessions. I signed up for a public speaking club within Desert Schools. I am able to refer other's to the job.

I LOVE THIS JOB! :D
I hope I can stay here for a little while longer, I love everything that has come from it ;)
