With my grandpa's business, we got to go see Yogi Bear 3D yesterday. It was funny ;)
Now the worst part...... super scary. On the way home, I had all 8 of us kids in the car. I was driving down University and right at Dobson I see a guy standing on the sidewalk, looking like he's going to cross the street. I didn't think he WOULD, considering I was driving right there (and I wasn't the only car so it's not like he didn't see me) so I kept going. Next thing I knew, he walked out RIGHT in front of me. I slammed on my breaks....but I guess it wasn't soon enough. I was screaming, so was Bentley (who was sitting in the front seat) and Maizey I think. The windsheild was dented, but thankfully not shattered. I didn't want to look at the guy, but Bentley was, and he was breathing. Later, the cops told me he was drunk, and he only had a broken wrist. PHEW! AND, none of it was my fault because I wasn't violating any laws. THANK GOODNESS! We all definitely were being looked out for by guardian angels. It could have been a LOT worse, but I'm SO glad it wasn't. My dad, Lexine, Bentley, and Maizey were supposed to go up to Utah this morning, and my grandma was really nervous about them going. Because this happened, they decided not to. It's probably a good thing because something worse probably would have happened.
I'm just glad we're all alright, and the guy is okay. I'm just not so sure how long it'll be until I'm driving again! I'm pretty scared outta my mind...
