Stuco Spirit Conference!

Today, Student Council went to a Spirit Conference at Coronado Highschool. IT WAS SO FUN! It was rockstar themed, so we dressed up like the Rockstar Energy Drink. AND, we won for most creative costumes :) I feel so proud.

We first got there, and danced around a little bit. Then, the school's dance, cheer, and choir performed a little bit. Then, we split up into groups. I went to share ideas that my school has and see what ideas other schools have for spirit and fund raising.

Next, we had a break--with snacks ;) AND, I got to see my friend Ashlynn that I haven't seen in FOREVER! It was fun!

Then, we listened to a motivational speaker--Patrick

Maurer. He was REALLY good! One quote he said, from a movie, was "In the absence of light, darkness prevails". I really liked that! He was pretty much just saying the whole time to be your best, be a leader, and help everyone. Don't miss your oppurtunity. It was really good.

I had a BLAST today! It was really really fun! I wish I could go back! haha ;) All I have to say, is that STUCO kids can be really loud :)
