SPIRIT WEEK--homecoming

This week was SO LONG. It was the week of homecoming, so there was a LOT to do! Our homecoming theme is "Cloud 9" so everything has to do with clouds and weather.

Monday was "white-out snow day". We decked out in white clothes and just had a bunch of fun!

Tuesday--the craziness begins. It was "TWINster Tuesday", so Bryndee, Amanda, Josh, Briana, Brett, and I all were twins. We made it simple and just wore black t-shirts and jeans. That night was also East Valley Idol--I stayed at the school from 7am-9:30pm that day. Probably THE longest day of my life. Other than that though, it was so fun! We all joked around and had a GREAT time! I already posted about East Valley Idol, so I won't write much.

Wednesday was crazy hair day. And I gotta say, even STUCO didn't really do it. And those who actually did, didn't do it very full out, like STUCO should. Then after school, I went shopping with my teacher for last minute homecoming decorations/food/etc and it was completely pointless for me. Me and Briana pretty much just walked around and did nothing.

Thursday was "Sunny Shades Day" where we wore sunglasses and anything else that protected us from the sun. It was pretty good.

Friday (today) was Spirit Day. We just had to dress up in all spirit and be totally crazy! We had an assembly, so they wanted us the most spirited we could be. I couldn't go very far out at first, because I had a choir trip, but after school, I did a little more spirit. Amanda painted my face, and I painted my arm, and I gotta say, it looked pretty cool ;) We went to the football game, and we won 14-7. It was the first of 4 games that we were actually scored against--but we still won! AND it was our homecoming game! YAY! :)

Tomorrow is homecoming. I have to be at the school at 8am to start setting up. Then, we go home as soon as we are done. The dance starts at 8 that night, so we have to get back at 7:30. Its going to be a LONG weekend.... But super fun as well! ;D
