This year, I'm especially thankful for family and friends. Being in Chile last Thanksgiving, and not really celebrating it, helped me realize the importance of Gratitude. Luckily, we lived 4 hermanas in our house, and 3 were from the US, so we celebrated in our own little way :) But it wasn't the same.
This year, we gathered as friends and family and celebrated this special day.
Isn't family great? So many people gathered together, with a special bond, all happy and thankful to be together. It's awesome!
And friends too. Coming home from the mission, I admit I was afraid of this friends aspect. Would we all be different? Would our experiences change us and not all "mesh" like we did before? Who am I going to hang out with? And ya know? Things did change... but for the better. I feel closer to them all than I ever did before. I feel comfortable getting to know new friends. I'm more outgoing. It's great!
These friends, old and new, and family, help me keep going and progressing. They are those who have helped me get to where I am today, helped build my personality, and were always there through the good and bad.
THANK YOU! To all of you who have impacted me throughout the years!
