As we were walking to our seats, there are always those protesters. My dad had Filiberto's for dinner in his hand, and so every time someone offered us a flier, my dad would reply "No thanks, but I have an extra taco, do you want that?" It was SO funny, because they would all decline and be really confused at why he was offering them a taco.. ha.
I love the Easter season. It means so much, and gave us forgiveness for our mistakes. Without Christ suffering and dying on the cross for us, for ME, I would never be the person I am today. I am so thankful, that he, a perfect man, would do so much for us sinners so we could live again with him someday.
What Life Has Taught Me:
--Christ suffered not only for our sins, but for our sorrows. He feels our sadness, our pain, every feeling we have. Whenever I am having a hard day, I know he is there to comfort me. He knows exactly what I am feeling and knows exactly how to make it better :)
It is also important to remember that he knows the good times too. He knows the fun and happiness we feel too. Like any best friend, they don't always want to know about the pain we are going through, they want to know the good stuff.
--Take time to go to the Easter Pageant and other events at the temple. Don't let 5+ years go by without going again :)
