Mormon Prom

Wow, it's been a while since I've posted!!

This last weekend I went to Mormon Prom with Justin!! And yes, it was a BLAST!!! :D

In our group were:

Zach/Bryndee

Skylar/Emily

David/Sariah

DFarr/Amanda

Ryan/girl in his ward

Lincoln/Kenzie

Lincoln is my seminary teacher's son. None of us (besides Kenzie) knew him before prom, but he easily fit in with all of us! He's so funny!

In the morning we went on our day date. We went to GoodWill and bought funny clothes for each other, then went out and played Bigger-or-Better. In the funky clothes. It was great ;) We got many, MANY weird looks :) My team I guess didn't pick the best neighborhood, everyone was either not home or didn't want to play. Oh well. We ended up with a broom, and the other half had a grill!

Later that night, we went and took pictures at Freestone Park. Then went to Buca di Beppo for dinner. I tried calamari (SQUID!!!) It wasn't too bad actually, just the thought it was squid kinda made me not like it :P ha.

At the dance, it was so fun! I knew SO many people from church and school, so it was great! Kids in my new ward, AND old ward/stake were there! I even heard of people that were there that I didn't even see! It was super cool in there ;) It was at Barney Sports Complex, they laid down artificial grass over the iceskating rink, and had a big tent over it. WHOA!!

THIS WAS SO FUN!!!

GREAT way to end high school and my...interesting... history of dances. I'm so glad I was able to go! :D
