Last Week Of High School--MONDAY

Today was my last Monday of HS. Ever. Hallelujah.
Through my rejoicing, I feel so many different emotions: happy, sad, scared, relieved, nervous, excited... and different ones hit me throughout the day.
For example, in 1st hour, I get so happy to be DONE with it. Then in choir, I'm just content ;) In Spanish, I'm SUPER excited! Then I go to Stuco, and get kinda sad. Seminary I'm really sad, because I love it so much. And English, I feel a mixture of all. Well, all day is a mixture, but certain feelings are just prominent.
We had a party at lunch today. Just for fun--lotsa yummy goodies! :D
Then I also got to talk to........ SARAH!!!! Way back when, freshman year, we did these "philosophy projects" when we had to write our feelings about the certain topics. The teacher we had left, and he said if we don't go pick them up, he'll throw them away. I didn't have a chance to go, so I just assumed it was gone. Today though, my Blackhawk Hour teacher gave me mine! He's an English teacher that sorta took my teacher's spot! He has Sarah's too, so I told her and was talking to her for a while. It was so fun, but made me miss sophomore year when were were all together. :(
Then, after school, was our Senior Speech Night. My English teacher had us give a couple minute goodbye/thanks/whatever speech instead of a senior project. To be honest, I actually really enjoyed it. Speaking in front of people doesn't bother me. I won't volunteer for sure, but being asked to, I'm okay with. It was scheduled for 4 hours (for all 48 of his seniors) though I don't think it went that long--I had to leave early. What I saw and heard though was actually pretty entertaining :)
The reason I had to leave early was because of the Choir Banquet. I heard we were eating Texas Roadhouse, but it wasn't. And it was yummy, but not that great... Anyway, I got the "Student Pianist" award, because I'm her first student to ever have that position ;) I loved it, all year long!
Well, one day down, four more to go. I'm going to leave this school standing proud and tall! Making the best of each last moment I have!
