I drove over to Briana's house so we could drive over together (because she knew where it was at, and I didn't). We were supposed to be there around 5 so we could help set up. It is off Germann and Price, and Price was definitely closed. So we tried going the other way around. Closed. The long way, nonexistent. So we called someone to get directions, the Germann way definitely NOW was opened up. So we didn't even get there until like 6....oops ;)
The dinner we had was incredible! A HUGE piece of chicken with a spicy sauce, a piece of steak, mashed potatoes, veggies, and a roll (which I accidentally dropped a piece of on me, getting buttery grease all over me :( ). While we ate, we watched a slide show of some pictures the seniors sent in.
After, the dance was supposed to be outside, but it was rainy and cold. So we went out for a few minutes to watch a fire dancer while they moved the tables inside. It was FREEZING, but pretty cool. He pretty much did the same thing over and over. It was funny, Amanda was like "Doesn't he have anymore tricks up his sleeves?" And Briana replies, "He doesn't HAVE sleeves!!" He was in a tank top. :P haha.
The dance wasn't too bad I guess either. There had been some way more inappropriate dancing at the other dances. At first, all our friends wanted to go IN the middle of the dance (to get people to start dancing) and we didn't especially want to do that. So we were lame wall flowers for a while. Then, they were done in the middle, and we partied on the clean outskirts ;)
It ended at 11 (thank goodness, I was assuming 12). So by the time I got home it was around 11:45ish. Not too bad. :)
I feel like it could have been better, but it wasn't really horrible. I had a good time! :D Now, time to do it again in a few weeks at Queen Creek! :D
