The bishop wants everyone to "research" something about Nauvoo before we go, and while we're there we will learn a little more about it, and share it at a fireside there. I'm thinking of either the rebuilding of the temple, something about Liberty Jail, or the gun or horseshoe shop. Maybe. I'll decide...
Well anyway, I had a fun idea about it.... I'm going to make a scrapbook binder thing of all I do to prepare for Nauvoo (including the research stuff) and stuff I do there. I'll write journal entries each night and take a lot of pictures and such ;) So I can remember this trip forever!
While I'm there, I want to learn more about church history, make new friends, make it a worthwhile experience, and learn something new about myself.
Nauvoo is such a fun, amazing place, and I am SO looking forward to going!! I'm finally starting to sorta make friends in my ward ;) so this will just strengthen the relationships ;) I am going to make it the best trip, and learn so much from it!
