LOVE

Love actually was kind of hard... it seemed like it would have been easy, but trying to show MORE love, or in a different way was a little difficult. I searched the scriptures for help...

John 14:15 says, "If you love me, keep my commandments." The best way to show God that we love him is to do what he asks. It's the same with our parents. When we obey, we show we love and respect them.

The Lord loves those who have true integrity in their heart and who love what is right (D&C 124:15).

As I have loved you, love one another.

And lastly, service. Service is the best way to show someone you love them. Forgetting yourself and setting your mind to help others is very important. Being charitable. Christ loved everyone, and so should we. He did this by being completely humble, and thinking of any/everyone before himself--even his enemies. He did the biggest service to us-- the Atonement. Because of his sacrifice and service, we are able to return to live with him.

I think I need to just forget myself a little more, and help others. I often get carried away in what I need to do and getting my own things done. I need to start putting others first , love more, and I know the Lord will help me.
