MORP

Wow.... MORP was interesting....

First off, we stayed after school until 4:15 setting up. Then, I took Porter to ColdStone! YUM! ;) Because I had a coupon and he had a gift card. ;)

So I had to be at the Basketball game at 7 before the dance. We played Notre Dame and won by 2!!!! But I had to leave at the beginning of 4th quarter to go get ready for the dance.

At the beginning, the dance was really fun. But then, it started getting REALLY bad.... All of a sudden, everyone was like "GET CLOSER TOGETHER!" and started dancing really noddy. So Josh, Briana, Amanda, and I just got out of there. We went off to the side and just were talking.

So Josh has had some problems going on and was talking to us about it. It was a really deep, emotional conversation. At first we were over at the tables, then a little ways from the dance, then actually IN the dance, sort of. Just off to the side, but on the dance floor. It was weird to dance, 1- because we were having a good conversation, and 2- because it was just uncomfortable. So we just stood there and continued talking. A few people came dancing up to us to get us to dance, realized we were having a deep convo, and said sorry and left. But Brett, on the other hand, came up to us and YELLED at us to go dance. He was VERY angry all night at people who weren't dancing. I don't know why--it wasn't even HIS dance, it was the Junior's event. :P But he was very frustrated, it almost made ME mad because he didn't even care we were trying to help Josh out. He didn't even know what was going on, but he yelled at us. Brett's like never mad, and he was WAY more than mad....

I was really excited for this dance, but once we got there, it definitely wasn't what I expected. The DJ was HORRIBLE, he played old songs, and the same ones over and over. The whole dance was just interesting, and could have gone way better....
