General Conference!

Last weekend, it was General Conference, which was AMAZING!! One of my favorite things that was said, was by Boyd K. Packer-- "The Lord is voting for you, and Lucifer is voting against you. So it is YOUR vote that counts!"I LOVE THIS QUOTE!!

I also found it amazing that many of the speakers talked about how they recently spent time with their grandchildren, and "blah blah" happened! I assumed they were SUPER busy, but it's great they still find time for family! :)

Also, I noticed a lot of the talks were about missionary work, and trusting in God/be strong/be courageous. I think those 2 things are very important, especially now. Heavenly Father is always there for us, no matter what, and it is extremely important to remember.

In seminary, we talked about conference. We talked about our favorite speakers, favorite talks, what we thought of it as a whole, and themes. Some my class thought of that didn't really occur to me, are agency and repentance. Those are also very important to remember. Addictions (of all sorts) were mentioned a couple times too.

This session of conference was GREAT, and I know it is especially what our Heavenly Father needed us to know for right now.
