Choir Concert

Tonight, was my very first Chamber Choir Concert. It actually wasn't only Chamber Choir though--the other choir was with them--I think its Concert Choir and Vocal Ensemble. AND, I guess it really wasn't MY choir concert either, because I don't sing. HECK NO. I accompany the choir ;) except, I only played one song. Eh, whatever. I was sorta kinda nervous, but not too much. Thank goodness! But right as I went out, the teacher (Ms. Farenga) goes to the mic and says, "I should probably also announce that this is my first year I have a student accompanist. Her name is Kami Severtson and it's wonderful! I love having a student accompany the choir..." and stuff like that. Then everyone clapped for me... it was kinda awkward. I didn't know what to do, so I just sat there... Hmmm....

Anyways, it only lasted like 45 minutes, thank goodness for that too! ;) I hate staying at the school so late when I now live like 20 minutes away. Its a somewhat long drive, and it's lonely by myself. BUT, I listen to the radio and sing and think and enjoy the time as much as I can ;)

(One thing I remembered that I completely forgot about, was when me and Bryndee went on our Thatcher trip. We went to a restaurant with Reece, Austen, and Camille. Camille's mom/aunts/grandma were all there having a little party, and they sat right by us. One of her aunts phones started ringing--the ringtone was "Hey Soul Sister" by Train. It starts the first "Hey-y" and like the whole restaurant sings "Hey-y-y-y-y" it was SO funny!!)
