So I've always wanted a brown corduroy messenger bag as a backpack, but always had to carry way too much crap around so it wouldn't be big enough. Finally, this year I realized that by being a senior with 2 REAL classes and 4 electives, I would be able to have one. I looked and looked and LOOKED, and there wasn't one to be found...not even on the Internet. I decided I would get a plain backpack, and decorate it. I figured a bright blue would be REALLY fun!!
Today, me and Bryndee went to the VF factory outlet mall to get some plain, bright-colored Jansport backpacks, (me-blue, Bryndee-yellow) because they always have them 50% off. We looked there, and they had SOME, but not a bunch, and the ones the colors we wanted, were a funny material, like waterproof or..mesh? Not sure why you'd get a mesh backpack.... Anyways... we found a really cool off-whiteish one that we figured would be super fun to decorate! And the better part... the tag said $22--compare at $45!! there was even a sticker on it that said $16.99. Which is even better! The BEST part though, is the big sign abo
ve all the backpacks that said $9.97!!! We got backpacks for TEN DOLLARS. We then went to Jo-Anns to buy things to decorate them with, and spent another $7 each, so $17 backpacks is a pretty legit deal!!
