CAMPIN!

We went camping these past couple days! My familia drove up Thursday afternoon, but Bentley, Maizey, and I drove up Friday morning. I love the tradition of blasting music with windows down we started ;) It was a pretty good camping trip, but it was WINDY! SUPER windy. Pretty much this is what we did: ate smoke, breathed smoke, got attacked by smoke, survived a wind attack on the tent ALL night, got a little sunburned (yay! --> tan), sat, read, slept. ;) haha We were supposed to come home this morning, but only Caleb and Jo wanted to, so the parents stayed with them, and the rest of us came home last night. Kinda weird, it took us exactly 3 hours to get home..to the minute.
I really do love camping, really. It's super fun! It's just when I kinda forget what day it is, and realize I am leaving the next morning and haven't packed yet, and forget some stuff at home, that it's not necessarily my favorite. ;) haha that, and when it's windy! If there wasn't wind, the weather would have been PERFECT. Saturday morning, I had SO much wind blow smoke in my eyes, I was pretty much crying and going blind.. ha ;) But all in all, that camping trip was a great one! :D

OHHHHH... AND Bentley's friend Lauren went to Nauvoo the other day...and.....GOT ME A NEW RINGGG!! :D AHHH!!!!! <3 I am so haappppyyy!! Definitely made my weekend :) :) :) :D

Challenge 9: What are some of your favorite messages from the last General Conference? Why?
I know it's kinda cliche, but I really liked Uchtdorf's "STOP IT" talk. I feel like it really was for me.. I have been catching myself do stuff like that lately, and it's something I want to stop. Uchtdorf says it perfectly, it's simple. Just, stop it! I've been trying to do better, but still have some perfecting to do.. ;) ha

Challenge 10: What is your favorite Book of Mormon scripture? Why?
My favorite BofM scripture is probably just the whole book of Enos. I love how he pours out his whole soul to the Lord--and not for himself, but for his brethren. I love how he separates himself from the world, goes out, and prays. It was a true and sincere prayer, and he was able to receive confirmation from the Lord that he is on the right track and his sins are forgiven him. I love this book because I wish I could do that same thing. I wish I could know how to be that humble, open, sincere, selfless...as Enos was.

Challenge 11: What are your many blessings?
Count your many blessings!!
A family who loves me. Parents who have the best example for me to follow and the relationship I have with them. Siblings/friendships and all the memories we have. Friends who are always there for me. Opportunity to go to school on a scholarship. A great job that I love. A roof over my head. The gospel and all it's teachings. Easy access to the scriptures and temple. Health and strength. Talents.
And oh so much more!
