Ok, so I know I already posted a LOT about my weekend, but there's more!
First off, I forgot to post about it the other day, but.... last year, actually in November, we had a family reunion. At this reunion, we had a talent/variety show thing. I brought my favorite piano book and played "Somewhere In Time"--one of my favorite songs in said book. I knew if I set it down somewhere, I would lose it, so, I was sitting on it the whole time. I was CERTAIN I brought it home. A week or so later, I was looking for this book, and couldn't find it ANYWHERE!! I was SO SUPER upset!! BUT, yesterday, I found it!! FINALLY!! I guess moving is a good thing and you get to find things you missed. ;)
Speaking of finding things, I also found my Gameday shirt. At school, club pictures were today, and STUCO decided to wear these shirts. I had lost mine, and had NO idea where it was!! I looked quite a few times, and never found it. THEN, yesterday morning, I looked in my old room, in my closet, in my duffel bag, and BAM there it was!! And may I add it was the ONLY shirt in the bag. Hmm, at least I found it!! Pictures were today ;)
We attended our new ward yesterday, and I met a billion people--but the two girls in my Sunday School class seem really nice. One I vaguely knew. She's Chaille Jensen-- She went to Winter Formal with Todd(the guy I went with)'s cousin Colbe Smelser. Her friend, Ashlyn McCleve was the other girl. They seem really nice. It seems like a pretty good ward, at least I hope so. I just think it will be a while until I actually get to be really good friends with them all.
After church, we went to the cemetery because last week, FINALLY, we got my mom's headstone. It turned out really good!!
Then, we went to my Grandma and Grandpa Porter's house for dinner. All TEN of us! The food was mucho delicioso! ;) It always is! I love my grandma ;) After dinner, we played "So you think you know Grandma and Grandpa Porter?" There were 8 questions, and I got 7 right--the most of everyone--even my daddy ;) So my grandpa gave me 5 of the gold dollar coins. Everyone else he gave $2 of real paper money ;) Twas fun! Thanks! ;)
After that, we went to my Grandma and Grandpa Severtson's house. My siblings all went trick-or-treating and got a whole load of candy! Me, Bentley, and for some reason, Jonah stayed. ;)
This weekend just seemed really good the whole time! Twas great ;)
BUT, one last thing.... today, being previously stated, is November 1st. This means a few things.
1-The year is going by WAY fast
2-It's getting to the holiday season, so time is about to go faster
3-In exactly 6 months, I will be turning EIGHTEEN!! Holy old. I do NOT want to be 18, its an adult, more responsibilities, and just OLD! I don't feel "old" enough to be turning 18!! :{ hmmph.
