I just wanna say... I already have a "mission friend" and I haven't even left yet. The Brague's in my ward told me of a girl they know (in their old ward a few years back) going to the same mission as me, same day! I added her on Facebook and have been talking to her a bit..she's pretty cool! She's in Utah for school right now, and comes home (she lives in East Mesa) late December. But when she's home, we plan to get together and hang out..since we will be in the MTC together for a few weeks! Wouldn't it be cool if we were companions!? haha We want to get the same flight to Provo together too, which would be awesome.
Seriously, what are the chances of that?! I was super excited when I found out! AND she only lives like 10-15 minutes away from me..so not too far! I made me excited to have friends "from" the mission, and I haven't even gone yet!
I can't wait until I get to "officially" meet her, and to make so many more friends once I leave! :)
