You know how usually the first book is the best and they go downhill from there? It is the opposite case in this series. Each one is an excellent continuation of the first. The author has such a way of writing that you feel you are there with the characters. I have felt happy, sad, excited, scared, love, anger, appreciation, and the spirit.
I am so glad there are 9 in this series... it will keep the great feeling I feel while reading for a long time :) I'll just be sad when it's over, but I love this series so much.
But now I have to go...start the 4th!! :D
