Utah :)

Friday morning, we spontaneously decided to go on our Utah trip ;) Here's what we did:

Friday:

-Porter got his permit in the morning

-I drove the whole way following my daddy-o in the car ahead of us

-I "didn't" purposely slow down, so I had to go really fast to catch up to my dad and "not" go 100mph :)

-I lost my Nauvoo nail ring ;( and searched McDonald's for half an hour for it..and never found it :(

-Finally got into Logan at 1am

Saturday:

-Hiked, kinda ;)

-Went to Gossner's and ate cheese and ice cream

-Went to Idaho for my first time!

-Spilled ice cream all over myself and wondered why I was getting cold on my seat..figured it was A/C ;)

-Visited the SNOW!! In JULY!!

Sunday:

-Music and the Spoken Word

-Shook hands with PRES. UCHTDORF!!!!

-Went on the roof of the Conference Center

-Watched the Justin Bieber movie...hehehe. fun to make fun of ;)

Monday:

-4th of July parade--lots of taffy! :)

-Garrett threw a yucky flavor at "princesses" or beauty pageant girls, listening to them scream ;)

-Sprinkled rain, got hopes up, then stopped

-Visited Rod's site where he passed away

-Did fireworks and blew up/melted armymen ;)

Tuesday:

-More fireworks and armymen

-School shopping, approved clothes for the bros, and picked out "cool" ones for them

-Hiked in the Minnetonka cave!! :D

Wednesday:

-Drove to Manti

-Saw the Coon's at the Manti Temple

-Blasted Bohemian Rhapsody through the small town to see how many weird looks we got as we sang and danced ;)

-Uncle Laird's house/cabin, ate hot dogs, s'mores...

Thursday:

-Drive home

-Laird's daughter (Kristen) asked me if I would get married when I was 20, and asked Lexine for permission

-Laird's son (Colton) sang Justin Bieber... BayBuh BayBuh BayBuh HO!!!!

-More Bohemian Rhapsody, plus Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, Taylor Swift, High School Musical...

I read a lot of the second Work and the Glory :)

And now I am too used to driving super fast...that when I go the speed limit (or accidentally a little over) I feel SO SLOW!! :)
